Delete your GoDeeper account and data
Last updated: 9 October 2026
You can delete your account in GoDeeper or request deletion by email. You do not need to reinstall the app to send a request.
Delete in the app
Open GoDeeper, open Settings, and choose Delete account. Read the confirmation before continuing. This deletes the account and associated profile, favourites and question-history records from the app database. It cannot be undone.
Request deletion by email
Email hello@eljam.io with the subject “GoDeeper account and data deletion”. Tell us whether you want the account deleted or only particular data removed, and whether you used Android or iOS.
If you signed in with Apple, send the request from your sign-in email address or tell us the Apple private relay address you used. For a guest account, include your support ID if you have it, or explain that you no longer have access to the app. We will help identify the account and verify the request. Guest accounts have no sign-in email, so we may be unable to locate an account without its identifier. Never send your password, access code or payment-card details.
What deletion covers
Account deletion removes the app account and its associated database records. An email request can also ask for deletion of information associated with that account in analytics, diagnostics and other service-provider systems. Tell us if you only want particular information deleted while keeping the account.
Separately held purchase, accounting, security and backup records may be retained where necessary. We will explain any information that must be retained and the applicable period when responding to your request. See our Privacy Policy.
Cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your GoDeeper account or uninstalling the app does not cancel billing. Manage Google Play subscriptions in Google Play subscriptions, or App Store subscriptions in your Apple account settings.
